Mark Ang, bassist and vocalist for Runon Fragment, grew up moving around a lot around California, always gravitating towards hard rock stations like 96.7 KCAL, his favorite station, in San Bernardino or the now-defunct 106.5 FOX. He started writing the songs that would form the beginnings of Runon Fragment in 2004 on the beaches of Orange County.

Darren Greenberg, lead guitarist for Runon Fragment, hails from Chatsworth, California. Growing up listening to 106.7 KROQ, Darren started playing guitar and was influenced by the classics like Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones, and guitar legends like Steve Vai and Joe Satriani. His favorite station is now 95.5 KLOS.
